Method

Phases, illumination and Earth–Moon distances are computed with Skyfield and the JPL DE421 ephemeris. Moon age is the time since the last new moon, given at 12:00 local time in calendars. Moonrise and moonset are for the upper limb of the moon on a level horizon with mean refraction, at sea level; terrain and weather can change observed times. On some days the moon does not rise or set (shown as –). Times are local.
